Spotted: Aamir chilling with on-screen daughters on the sets of 'Dangal'

Aamir Khan’s upcoming biopic based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat has been creating quite a stir even before the film went on floors, courtesy, Aamir’s bulked up avatar for the film. The actor who will be seen reprising the wrestler onscreen, has not only put on a lot of weight in preparation for his film, but is also sporting salt-n-pepper, closely cropped hair for the role. This will be the first time that Khan will be seen playing such an older character and a father of two teenage daughters played by Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra. While the actor is known to be a dotting dad in real life, he seems to be a great onscreen father too or so suggest these couple of on-set pics that came our way recently. Not only is Aamir chilling with the entire ‘Dangal’ team, but the man also seems to share a warm bond with his on-screen daughters. We sure are eager to catch this father-daughters trio on the silver screen.

Not-so-long-ago, a couple of international wrestlers had flown in for the Salman Khan-starrer ‘Sultan’. Now, it seems like Aamir Khan has followed his close friend’s footsteps. But he has gone a few steps further by hiring not two but a number of international wrestlers for his upcoming flick, ‘Dangal’, as per a report on BollywoodLife. According to the report, the reason for this is that Aamir’s onscreen daughters in the movie would be competing against wrestlers from different countries. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, ‘Dangal’ is all set to release on December 23, 2016.

Aamir is clearly leaving no stone unturned for ‘Dangal’. The actor is also all set to lose 25 kilos for the role. Click the following slide to know more…
Aamir Khan is all set to return to his fitter self after getting heavily beefed up for his role of a wrestler in his upcoming flick ‘Dangal’. The actor had gained about 25 kilos to look similar to the national level wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, on whose life the film is based. While Aamir had to bulk up to play the middle-aged father, he is now required to lose it all to turn leaner and muscular, just like wrestler Sushil Kumar, to play the younger version.

Aamir’s physical exertion for ‘Dangal’ isn’t limited to this. The superstar also got injured while shooting the film. But he made good use of it. Click the next slide to know more…

After losing weight, what will Aamir Khan do with his XL-sized clothes

Aamir Khan is a perfectionist in the real sense of the term. He is counted amongst those few actors in Bollywood who can go to any extent for a film. For his upcoming film, ‘Dangal,’ Aamir gained as much as 25 kilograms, which raised everyone’s eyebrows. But on his 51st birthday bash, the actor was seen in a leaner avatar. The reason? He now has to play the younger version of Mahavir Phogat, on whom his character in the film is based on. After this, he will shed 13 more kilos to attain the ‘Ghajini’ shape. But what is he doing with his XL-sized clothes which would be of no use to him now. Well, he will give away all these clothes to charity. A report on Mid-day.com has quoted his spokesperson as saying that Aamir has gone through different sizes and will experience more change in size during his process of losing weight.

We all know that Aamir Khan is celebrating his 51st birthday today but 51 seems to be just another number for this perfectionist Khan. The actor, who was shooting outside Mumbai for his next biopic 'Dangal', returned to Mumbai to celebrate his birthday with his family, especially his mother, who wanted to be by her son's side on his birthday. The actor, who will be meeting the media over a small press conference at his residence (a ritual he follows on his every birthday), was spotted early morning at Mumbai airport. Sporting thick moustache and beard, the birthday boy was all smiles for the shutterbugs as he made an exit from arrival gate. Wearing all grey tracksuit, blue sneakers, a jacket tied on his bag, Aamir looked fit and tough. For those not in the know, the actor has already shot the second half of the film for which he had put on a lot of weight and now, the superstar is preparing to get leaner and fitter for the first half which will see him as a younger Mahavir Phogat, the wrestler whose life the film is based on.

While we definitely can't wait to see a leaner, fitter and of course, a younger looking Aamir, click on the next slide to know some intriguing facts about the making of this action-drama... by Hiten J Trivedi

According to reports, Aamir was so surprised to see the trailer of ‘Sultan’ that he allegedly called producer Aditya Chopra.
