Aamir Khan’s upcoming biopic based on the
life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat has been creating quite a stir
even before the film went on floors, courtesy, Aamir’s bulked up avatar
for the film. The actor who will be seen reprising the wrestler
onscreen, has not only put on a lot of weight in preparation for his
film, but is also sporting salt-n-pepper, closely cropped hair for the
role. This will be the first time that Khan will be seen playing such an
older character and a father of two teenage daughters played by Fatima
Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra. While the actor is known to be a dotting
dad in real life, he seems to be a great onscreen father too or so
suggest these couple of on-set pics that came our way recently. Not only
is Aamir chilling with the entire ‘Dangal’ team, but the man also seems
to share a warm bond with his on-screen daughters. We sure are eager to
catch this father-daughters trio on the silver screen.
Move on to find out more about the film…
Not-so-long-ago, a couple of international
wrestlers had flown in for the Salman Khan-starrer ‘Sultan’. Now, it
seems like Aamir Khan has followed his close friend’s footsteps. But he
has gone a few steps further by hiring not two but a number of
international wrestlers for his upcoming flick, ‘Dangal’, as per a
report on BollywoodLife. According to the report, the reason for this is
that Aamir’s onscreen daughters in the movie would be competing against
wrestlers from different countries. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, ‘Dangal’
is all set to release on December 23, 2016.
Aamir is clearly leaving no stone unturned for ‘Dangal’. The actor is
also all set to lose 25 kilos for the role. Click the following slide to
know more…Aamir Khan is all set to return to his
fitter self after getting heavily beefed up for his role of a wrestler
in his upcoming flick ‘Dangal’. The actor had gained about 25 kilos to
look similar to the national level wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, on
whose life the film is based. While Aamir had to bulk up to play the
middle-aged father, he is now required to lose it all to turn leaner and
muscular, just like wrestler Sushil Kumar, to play the younger version.
Aamir’s physical exertion for ‘Dangal’ isn’t limited to this. The
superstar also got injured while shooting the film. But he made good use
of it. Click the next slide to know more…
